SUBJECT: Red Hill October News

Dear ,

It’s hard to believe October is already upon us, and we have a month full of exciting events and opportunities for our Red Hill families!

Get ready for Walk to School Day, a chance to enjoy some fresh air and connect with friends. If you have budding performers, don’t miss out on the upcoming RHPA auditions. There’s also plenty of Halloween fun in store, along with our always popular Family Bingo Night hosted by Mrs. Crain.

We’re thrilled to bring our community together for these events and more. Make sure to check out the full details in the Rocket Rundown or visit our website at redhillpta.org for the latest updates and information.

Thank you for your continued support. We can’t wait to see you at these events and share in all the October excitement!

Red Ribbon Week Oct. 21-25

During this special week, students will have the opportunity to show their support by dressing up according to a fun theme each day.  Our amazing student council, which will be finalized on October 4, is brainstorming creative ideas to make this year's Red Ribbon Week extra special. Stay tuned for more details about the daily themes, one of which will incorporate the 50th day of school on October 23. Please note that dressing up is completely optional. Let's come together to promote healthy choices and have some fun!

Halloween Parade and Class Parties

All parents are invited to join us for the Halloween Parade outside on the blacktop Thursday, October 31st at 8:00 am. Please make sure your child is wearing school clothes under their costumes. Please remember that masks, weapons, make-up, or hair dye are not permitted as part of costumes.

Room parents will be providing additional information about classroom parties, so keep an eye out for emails with further details.

Fundraising Campaigns
Teacher Auction

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Red Hill Elementary Teacher Auction! Stay tuned—winners will be announced first week of October.

Rocket Run - Fri., Nov. 1

Mark your calendars for Friday, November 1, when Red Hill students will hit the field to walk, jog, and run in support of our educational enrichment programs.

This year, our goal is to raise $20,000, which will directly fund a variety of valuable programs for our school. We can easily reach our goal if every student raises $50 through donations from friends and family.

Share this link with your loved ones. Let’s rally behind our students and make this year’s Rocket Run the best yet!

The Rocket Launch Campaign is the premier fundraising initiative for Red Hill Elementary PTA. This is a great opportunity for parents, friends, and extended family members to support our school. Every dollar raised goes directly toward enhancing the educational experience at Red Hill. From academic enrichment to community-building events, your support empowers us to provide exceptional opportunities for all our students.

Birthday Book Club

Support the Red Hill Library and donate a book in your child’s name for his/her birthday. Birthday book club students get to choose a brand new library book from a wide selection of exciting titles. They will be the first to borrow it from the library and once returned, the book will be placed into our library collection for others to enjoy.

The cost is $25 and all proceeds go directly to supporting our library. Each student will celebrate during their birthday week in the library and take home a goodie bag. Summer birthdays will be celebrated on their half birthday.
