SUBJECT: Red Hill April News

April is shaping up to be a busy month at Red Hill! With a few events rescheduled due to March rain, our calendar is full as we head into the final stretch of the school year. From classroom activities to school-wide events, there’s a lot happening on campus this month. As we move closer to summer, we’re focused on finishing the year strong and keeping families informed every step of the way.

We’re grateful to have such a supportive school community — let’s make it a great month!

April Events
Family Book-Nic April 9

Join us for Family Book-Nic—a special lunchtime reading picnic. Bring a book and an optional lunch to enjoy with your student(s) during their scheduled lunch period. Students can also get lunch from the cafeteria.

Please note: Playgrounds will be closed as this is a quiet reading time.

Bring a blanket or beach chairs for seating on the grass. If you can’t attend, let your child’s teacher know so we can pair them with a buddy.

Lunch Times:

  • TK, Kinder, 1st & 2nd: 12:00–12:45 PM (Gates open at 12:00)
  • 3rd–5th: 12:20–1:05 PM (Gates reopen at 12:20)

🤝 Volunteers Needed for Youth Concert on May 2 🤝

We need volunteers to support Red Hill Elementary’s participation in the Pacific Symphony Youth Concert on May 2 from 8AM to 1PM at the Renée & Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa. Red Hill has been assigned to the Bus Team, and we need 10 volunteers to assist with managing bus traffic outside the venue. You will also get to attend the concert.
