What is the PTA and how does being involved contribute to your child’s future?
By joining the Red Hill PTA, you will have the ability to enhance your child’s growth, experience, and educational opportunities during their tenure at Red Hill. Our wonderful community of parents and volunteers directly supports our teachers and staff, and provides diverse enrichment programs to all Red Hill students. Here are just a few of the many reasons to get involved:
- Stay connected and in the loop. There is no better way to learn about school activities and community events than through the PTA. All parents are encouraged to subscribe to PTA emails + attend PTA meetings, which are held the third Friday of every month, with occasional exceptions for holiday weeks.
- Be Heard. The PTA is a great vehicle to provide input on ongoing programs and share suggestions for new ones. PTA membership gives you a voice and a vote that will directly impact your child’s classroom experience.
- Build a Network. PTA events are a great way to see your child’s teachers outside of the classroom and to meet other Red Hill parents. And at PTA meetings, parents can share ideas, concerns, and experiences with teachers and staff in real time.
- Help Us Grow. Put your skills and hobbies to use by volunteering for the PTA and PTA functions. Any donation of your time directly impacts the children and community for the better.
- Be Part of the Solution. By getting involved, you have the opportunity to make positive changes for the students, the school, and our community at large.
- Be a Role Model. Becoming part of the PTA shows your child that school is important and his/her experience at Red Hill matters.
